How much can my family’s income be and still qualify for the Florida Tax Credit (FTC) scholarship?
There are now no income limits.
Who qualifies for the Family Empowerment Scholarship (FES)?
Any child who has any minor diagnosis–from requiring speech therapy, to having a chronic health condition (e.g. mild asthma or growth problems), to any mild behavioral or psychological diagnosis (e.g. ADD or social anxiety). This scholarship is not income dependent.

Do I have to reapply yearly for the Family Empowerment Scholarships (FES)?
No! Once a student receives a scholarship, they remain eligible until they graduate high school (irrespective of diagnosis change).
How do I apply for the Family Empowerment Scholarship (FES)?
You complete an online application, including a note signed by a doctor stating the diagnosis.
Can a child receive both the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship and the Family Empowerment Scholarship?

Rabbi Dr. Gur Berman has a 20+ year career in education and over ten years of experience as a school leader in both private and public charter schools. Most prominently, he was the principal of the Kendall and Plantation Ben Gamla Charter Schools. Currently, he serves as the Director of General Studies at Yeshiva Toras Chaim Toras Emes, overseeing the general studies education of over 1,000 students.

Known for her creative educational experiences, she helps students gain a greater understanding and appreciation for the modern State of Israel.

Morah Miriam used her experience as Co-Director of Camp Coolanu to create dynamic and innovative Torah lessons that helped her students learn in a fun and entertaining environment.
